We're going to make this recipe, Tokwa't Baboy, a little bit of hype! I admit, I am a Tokwa lover, muncher, monster.. or whatever you may call it.  Do you know that Tokwa or Tofu has a lot of health benefits? This can be added to your diet as it is nutritious, here are the benefits that it gives:
  • Helps reduce pain due to rheumatoid arthritis
  • High protein to build strong muscles
  • Reduces risk of heart diseases because of its soy content that reduces bad cholesterol
  • Good source of energy due to the presence of minerals, like selenium and iron
  • With isoflavone for women to maintain a balanced hormone
  • And most of all, it has low sodium and fat content  to achieve weight loss

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon chopped white onions
1 green finger chili (siling haba) sliced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
1 clove onion, minced
1/4 sugar
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 cups of firm Tofu (tokwa)
2 cups of pork (can be lechon kawali/porkchop)

Cut the Tofu or Tokwa diced or about half of it then deep fry it and the pork after.
Mix all the remaining ingredients in a bowl then set aside.
Combine the deep fried Tofu/tokwa and Pork add the sauce and heat pan for about 3-5 minutes.
Best serve while its hot!
