Easy-to-do DIY Marshmallow Fondant Recipe

Designing your own cake can be very fun and exciting. Who would not love to decorate their own sweet cake? Here, this recipe for making a DIY Marshmallow Fondant is great for newbies and for those who wants to start creating and decorating their own cakes or cupcakes. Just few steps and decorating is good to go! These are the ingredients that we need to make the Marshmallow fondant:


Ingredients: ( makes up to 20-30 servings of cupcake)
16oz of Marshmallows (can be mini marshamallows-your choice)
2 lbs. Confectioners Powdered Sugar (not your ordinary white sugar)

1. Pour a small amount of water in a bowl and melt the marshmallows inside the microwave.

2. Grease your hands with shortening, add the confectioners sugar a little at a time into your mallows.

3. Keep greasing your hands, adding  the sugar little by little as the marshmallows are sticky at first.

4. As it became manageable, roll out the marshmallows fondant using a rolling pin.
5. Add colors as desired. Mold your very own Marshmallow fondant on top of your cake or cupcake!

Smooth and Crisy Tokwa't Baboy

We're going to make this recipe, Tokwa't Baboy, a little bit of hype! I admit, I am a Tokwa lover, muncher, monster.. or whatever you may call it.  Do you know that Tokwa or Tofu has a lot of health benefits? This can be added to your diet as it is nutritious, here are the benefits that it gives:
  • Helps reduce pain due to rheumatoid arthritis
  • High protein to build strong muscles
  • Reduces risk of heart diseases because of its soy content that reduces bad cholesterol
  • Good source of energy due to the presence of minerals, like selenium and iron
  • With isoflavone for women to maintain a balanced hormone
  • And most of all, it has low sodium and fat content  to achieve weight loss


Ingredients:
1 tablespoon chopped white onions
1 green finger chili (siling haba) sliced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
1 clove onion, minced
1/4 sugar
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 cups of firm Tofu (tokwa)
2 cups of pork (can be lechon kawali/porkchop)

Cut the Tofu or Tokwa diced or about half of it then deep fry it and the pork after.
Mix all the remaining ingredients in a bowl then set aside.
Combine the deep fried Tofu/tokwa and Pork add the sauce and heat pan for about 3-5 minutes.
Best serve while its hot!

Luscious CHOCO LAVA CAKE

Luscious Choco Lava Cake, with melted chocolate over flowing with sweetness. We have here the step by step guide and recipe on how to make this Choco Lava Cake. We are going to make this recipe easy for you to enjoy more making one.

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar (white, brown or powdered)
2 medium eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2  cup melted butter
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon iodized salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons  chocolate syrup 

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease your baking tins
-In a bowl, melt butter and beat it with sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract
-In another bowl, sift the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, cocoa) then add salt.
-Mix all the ingredients together and finally add the choco syrup
-Pour batter into the tin/pan
-An estimated 7-10 minutes of baking is needed to have a molten choco oon its middle part
-When its cooled, transfer it into plate and dust a little bit of powdered sugar, or use strainer as if you're sifting.

Tadah! You're done! BUt remember it is best to eat it warm so you can fully enjoy the melted chocolate inside.
This is so good to serve not just for parties but even for snacks too. Have fun baking!
